stock tires rubbing

ok i have 31 10.50s and they rub for some reason on the radius arm canc any body tell me why

cause the stock tire size is 235/75R15, 31's and up only come in contact with the radius arms when at full steering lock, several ways of fixing this issue are, aftermarket radius arms with inward angle, rims with different backspacing, wheel spacers, and using stock tires.

to clarify a 235/75R15 tire has an overall height of about 28 and a half inches. the stock steering is only designed to accommodate that size of tires.

most of us however who run larger tires just choose to ignore this issue and try to avoid making extremely tight turns.

would a leveling kit help? was planning on 33s after transmission fix but not if will rub

No, 33s will rub even more in a tight turn. You can adjust the wheel stops to keep them from rubbing which limits the turn without wearing out your tires.
