Okay, as the title says, I am looking to replace my stock six shock set up. I have been toying around with a two inch lift only. Will the stock set up be okay with a two inch lift or not? I am only going to up size to 32" tire this time and I use the Bronco for a ski, winter, summer beater, not for serious off roading, so a bigger lift would not benefit me other than looks.

Also what is the brand of choice these days? Rancho, Rough Country.

yo!

I went w KYB

Gas Adjust w/lifetime warranty...

You'll get a lot of suggestions / opinions on diff brands..sorta like what beer do you like...lol

Looks like KYB suggests their Monomax Gas Shock for your uad set-up in front and also for da rear

Now for Bronco specific 32" 1150 x 15 tires.... just had a tire slashed by someone(s)...about 30-60 vehicles in da hood were hit last Fri night... I have 32" Dayton Timberline at's on da Bronco; BUT COULD NOT find one locally thru East Coast distributors or any tire store (even tirerack, etc on da Net).... Distr. rep said 32's on 15" are becoming Scarce bec most new trucks are 16" +.

SOS now w/tires!

Finally found a pair of Michelin M&S w/similar tread pattern to da Timberlines..bought 2 to mount in rear. Asked tire center owner if he could get more.. said he would need a cash deposit to order...

When you decide on a 32 or 31 tires brand and model, ck to see if these are older models or recent mfgr to ensure future replacement availability in emergency situations.

Okay after looking at the KYB site, is the part #'s the same for all 4 front shocks and different for the back? Or are there 3 different part#'s?

ok, should be 3 diff pn's for all front and rear;

In FRONT, diff pn's for:

Forward of Front Axle (total of 2 reqd for both sides)

& Aft of Front Axle (total of 2 reqd for both sides)

REAR; both same pn total of 2 reqd for both sides

Don't know what year/engine you have, so..look it up in the site. And insert info in your signature + tranny type, manual or Electr Xfer case (& hubs) & any special additions such as Lift height...It will be ezier in future to give you a detailed response...

Also consider for Cost; http://www.monroe.com/catalog/shockselector.asp
