looking at buying a pair of 80s axles from a 250, 8-lug. don't know if the speedo is compatable with my 8.8 to swap out. any help?

If your speedo is located on the transmission, you have no problem. The only thing you will have to do when you get done is to check the accuracy of the speedometer. It may be necessary to change the speedo gear.

my speedo is in the rearend and i'm told the rearend i'm buying has the speedo in the rear as well as the gear.

Same deal, if there is a speedo in the rear of the new axle then it should work just fine.

i don't see alot of parts for the sterling. how durable is it? i've found all the parts i would need to rebuild one it just doesn't seem too common.
