Hello,

Can anyone tell me if the Steering Wheel from a 1992 Bronco will work on a 1989 Bronco?

So far as I can find, the short answer is yes. If you have cruise control on your current wheel, you need to replace with a wheel that has cruise control. The wheel should be the same for at least 1987 til 1996. Any doubts, go to LMC truck. They sell replacement wheels (which are expensive) and list the same replacement wheel for both years.

As long as the 92 wheel used spring loaded contact brushes, (they look more like brass pins but are called brushes), it will work. They went with a slip ring arrangement on later trucks but I believe that was like 93 - 96. You could most likely change the whole column if necessary.
