WELL NOW, THERE IS A FEW WAYS TO DO IT. REMOVE THE NUT THAT HOLDS THE WHEEL. PUT BOTH OF YOUR KNEES UNDER THE WHEEL AND LIFT UP & OUT. PUT YOUR LEFT HAND (IF YOUR RIGHT HANDED) AT THE TOP OF THE WHEEL & PULL OUT. WHEN YOU GOT IT ALL PULLING OUT TAKE A HAMMER & KNOCK THE CRAP OUT THE SHAFT WHERE YOU PULLED THE NUT OFF... IF THAT DON'T GET IT GO TO THE PARTS HOUSE & GET A STEERING WHEEL PULLER.. SOMETIME THE SHAFT WILL FLAIR OUT WHEN YOU HIT IT WITH THE HAMMER BUT ALL YOU HAVE TO DO IS FILE IT BACK DOWN... THE PULLER MIGHT BE BEST!!! I HAVE PULLED A LOT OF WHEELS WITH THE KNEE, LEFT HAND, HAMMER WAY... A SMALL AMOUNT OF W-D HELPS ALSO... GOOD LUCK!!!

Usually just stuck on very tightly :) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

Mark the wheel and the shaft so that it can be put back on in the same position it was.

Even being off by one or more spines will make a huge difference when an alignment shop recenters the wheel for an alignment and makes the steering box a tad shy on one direction of turning.

Advanced Auto has them listed starting at around $8 on up to $38 or so.

Hey yellow never never hit the shaft without leavin the nut on it. thread it on till it's flush at the top of the shaft then get a 2lb hammer and have a friend pull on the wheel while you hit the nut and shaft. If you don't leave the nut on you will ruin the shaft and threads.
