I have a 1973 Bronco with standard steering and 3 speed manual transmission. I bought a donor vehicle which is a 1976 with power steering and automatic c4 transmission. Is this a straight swap of parts or is there problems I need to look out for? they are both 4x4 vehicles. Thanks for any help you may have.

Hi steelhead., welcome..!

Sure., it'll all swap out. P/S is easy... you'll need the complete steering "shaft" out of the '76 (upper & lower). And pullys & belts.

The trannie is a bit more work. Rad. cooling lines for example.

If you can keep fr. seperating the trannie/transfer... it avoids some roller bearing work. Need everything fr. the torque convert. to the output yoke.

Good time to repl. the rear crossmember mounts if they're bad. You'll need an aft. mkt. shifter.., unless you take the whole steering column fr. the donor. You'll need the kick-down rod & poss. the carb.

(Most all the EB stores have a list of all the doo-dads needed for this swap.)

Is the donor C-4 known to be good or is it going to be re-built.?

Meaning.., don't want to stuff it in there only to find out it doesn't work.
