91 Bronco 5.0l.

Issue: When starting i get the bad starter click, so i took starter off and had it tested,10/10 times it passed all tests.

Now this issue is not 100% if you try it a few times it starts fine then will start fine several times after then do it again and whats weird when this happens i lose all radio presets and time like i disconnected the battery?

ANY ideas? im wondering if its the fender mounted solinoid causing this?

Yes, you're on the right track. The solenoid is cheap. It also makes the starter work better when it's got a new one. I think like $12-15. My 91 had the same issue a few yrs back.

sounds like you might have a bad connection at your ground for the engine check where the wire goes and clean the contacts

Also clean up where your solinoid attaches to the fender That is your ground for the solinoid. Clean all the connections from the battery posts to the starter both + and -

Good luck,

:)>-
