Heya guys. I was thinking about ordering some 2 inch wheel spacers for my Bronco. When I took off the tire to do some measuring I noticed there was already spacers on the truck, but the ones on the truck were pressed on. The ones I'm about to order are with nuts that ***** onto the axle (or in this case, the spacer). So do you guys think it'll be safe to stack them?

Also the reason why I need them to stick out further is because I'm having some rubbing issues with the tires against the frame even with the first set of spacers on the truck!

Let me know what you guys think. Thank you!

My truck is a 1988 Full Size Bronco XLT with 33 inch size tires. I keep forgetting to post this in my sig.

Spaceing that far out will F up your bearings and play **** with alignment and many other settings. I have never seen pressed on spacers, got pictures?

I'll have pics up later today, if not, tomorrow morning. I'll take a picture of where the tires are rubbing to help maybe diagnose the problem and hopefully find a solution to it.

Gotta wait for the driveway to be dry enough to jack the truck up and take pictures.

They don't make 4 inch spacers do they? Might be easier to use than 2 having 2 inches.

Sounds to me like the backspacing is not right for what you are tring to run. Different wheels would be the best way to go. As has already been stated that much spacer will cause more problems than it solves. The further you put the wheel away from the center line of the bearings and ball joints the more load (stress) you are putting them under, which will cause them to fail with bad results. Look for different wheels please.
