hey guys i was pondering an idea of which way to go with this project...whats the difference from a full spool as compared to a mini spool? im also sure ill have to go with a locker in the rear but i think i can get away with a spool in the front since i have manual locking hubs...any help would be appreciated

Full spool takes place of your carrier, mini spool takes place of your spider gears. Mini spool is way easier to install. Spools are extremely ******* axles and u-joints. Selectable lockers are the way to go. you get the best of both worlds. They cost more initially but when you factor in all the axles you replace they just may save you money

thankyou for the fast response...that was what i was needing to know,i wasnt sure about the front end though because the only time i engange the manual lockers is on a slick surface,i guess i was just trying to save a little money from buying a locker for the front too

The front spool will be great offroad. And in straight lines. But soon as you turn the steering wheel and if you have a bit of traction you can expect to pop a ujoint. or worse.
