Speedometer cluster

:wacko: Need to replace my speedometer faceplate. Don't want to chance ruining the needle. Does anyone know how the speedometer needle comes off? Is it just a press on fit or is there a trick to removing it? How does it go back on? Does it just press fit back on?

The needle is not removable. You can take it apart, but be very careful. There are a couple of screws on the back of the cluster that holds everything together. It is actually pretty simple to pull it all apart and put back together. Just pay close attention and be careful because the needle is a fragile little guy.
