I Have went to a few, but they all seem to be so damn tight in there that you end up rounding off the top of the bolts. That 10mm head can only take so much abuse. What are you asking for the bolts. I need 11 of them

Just out of curiosity *** are you doing with 11 of those. And why would a plain old metric bolt for $0.10 work?

Well I can think of ten places he needs one and there is probably one I missed, 4 at each corner brace and 2 or is it 3 through the tail gate skin to the bracket behind it. The OEM bolts fit the recessed holes in the tire mount where a standard one will not.

Do not know what I was thinking about 11 is right :( /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" /> . I would still look into SS allen head bolts if normal ones did not fit. Still better than whatever ridiculous price Ford wanted. I am sure Steve would be reasonable and he would be where I would go if I just had to have the stock ones and could not get them at a JY.

The recesses in the tire mount are milled out so the head of a stock bolt fits in it perfectly. If the head does not fit perfectly, there will be a tendency for the bracket to shift around at the mounting point, which will eventually cause problems. So basically any bolt that fits properly can be used.
