Soft top brand ?

I am new to this site and to early broncos . I have been restoring classic mustang for a while now and am dont know brands and good vendors for parts for broncos . I bought a 74 bronco without a top and doors and want to put a full soft top but not sure what brand is best . I have seen one from Wild Horses (Best Top ) $625.00 and Fast Track $600.00from Jeffs bronco graveyard ? Does anyone have any suggestions ? Thanks Robert

Yeah, the two brands i know of are Best top and STC (Specialty Top CO.) I think both are good quality, but you may be able to find one on ebay for about half that price of $600.00 if you search for a few weeks. I bought my Skyler top from another classified forum, but don't remeber if they made one for the EB. They are out-of-business but still have a website.

In addition to Wild Horses and Bronco Graveyard, two other good sources of EB parts are Tom's Bronco Parts and James Duff. Good Luck!!! JSM84

Thanks for the info . I broke down last night and ordered a Best top in black with tinted windows . I needed to get it on the road pretty quick . I have sold all my foxbody mustangs and need somthing to drive :-" Robert

Have you installed it yet? I installed the WH best top (black-no tint) about 2 months ago and am really happy with it. It's been raining a ton lately and keeping out the water well.

Yea I istalled my top this past Saturday and was pretty happywith it but on Wed I noticed the tailgate plastic window was coming unglued on the lower corner where it glues to the fabric . But I called Wild Horses and they called Best Top and they are going to send me out a new tailgate window . So keep a eye out on your top and make sure you send in your warranty card .
