I found a local guy that's parting out a '93 Tbird SC, and I was wondering if I could retro fit the 3.8L Supercharger and intercooler to my Bronco's 3.3L/200 six? Or is that a huge task? I figured that I'd atleast try, b/c he only wants $300 bucks for it. If there is no way to retro fit it, how does a 3.8L Supercharged V6 sound in a 72 bronco? 210HP/315ftlbs. If I went that rought I'd buy the whole engine, or the whole car. Personally I think a Bronco powered by a 3.8L EFI Supercharged V6 mated to a M5R2?? 5 speed transmission would be awesome.

Not sure how you are going to match V6 parts up and on to an I-6. The other thing, if you decide to take everything, can you match your transfer case to that transmission? You are going to have to change motor mounts, probably transmission/transfer case mounts, lengthen/shorten driveshafts. Basically what you are going to be doing is building from scratch with a V6 swap. If you do, keep a good record of what you are doing and post pictures of the progress. It sounds like a pretty neat idea.

For $300 Why not give it a shot, plus if I can't use it, there are enough 3.8L Mustangs around to sell the charger and make a profit.

We are going to look at the Tbird donor car sunday. Personally I feel Guilty about tearing up a Tbird for my bronco, b/c Tbirds are my favorite Ford Cars, besides SHOs, and Falcons, and Torinos.

My other possible Option is switching out the 200 six for a 390 FE Hi-Po I have just sitting around, mated to a C6, how does that sound.

I guess what I should have said is you can't get a V-6 part to fit an Inline 6 cylinder engine. No way possible. Personally, if you are going to go through the trouble of taking the engine and tranny, why not try and put it in your EB anyway? Check to make sure that a transfer case will mate up and do it. It would be lighter than a V8, but my big question is why are you ditching the I-6? Those are good engines.
