so i had that other topic bout my bronco shudderig. well im going to start fresh with new number symptoms
1) when cruising my bronco is jumpy. but when steppin on the gas and puttin the truck under lots of stress it runs smooth.
2)its not a vibration cause its not a smooth even vibration it really spuratic. so it cant be drive train or anything off balance. to my knowlege
3) when in nuetral or park and rev the engine to 2000 rpm it runs smooth. i say 200 because thats about when it does it during driving.
4)when in drive b ut at a stop and on the break and rev to about 2000 rpm it gets spuratic. and i can hear it in the exhaust but not like its running bad. almost seems as if its slipping in nuetral and back into gear over and over.
5) number 4 explains better how it feels. it does kinda fell like it slips in to n real fast and back into gear and thats whats causing the jumpyness.
truck... 1986 5.0 efi
do these fords have torqe converters or do they run on bands? if anyone thinks its the tranny slippininto nuetral as i said. what could be causeing that and how to fix..
thank u everyone for ur help. it has helped bunch. its helped me to narrow it down
