Hi Guys,

75 EB 351W

I have WH 3.5" 11 pack in back and BC 3.5" coils up front.

All my shocks are dead - the whole rig wobbles like a jelly !

Cant afford Rancho 9000, so i need next best option.

Seems like:

WH extreme

Duff 70/30

Rancho 5000

I run mainly on road (every day) - so need a set up for stability at speed (this puppy hauls ass).

My off road is mainly just desert roads (not much).

Advice appreciated,

thx,

Monza.

Do the Duffs or WH. Call WH & ask them if they are a 70/30 shock like Duffs or a 50/50 like the RS5000. If they are 50/50, get the Duff shocks. Or you could go with the Cage shocks. I like all of their suspension stuff and their shocks are the same price as the Rancho.

I had HORRIBLE luck with any Rancho shocks. I had 5000's on my truck and bronco's and they rode horrible. Then I tried 9000's and they were better but still way too stiff for my liking. I went with Trailmasters since then on all of my rides and they ride great, handle well and seem to be overall a nicer shock for the money. Just my 2c.

thx guys,

what does that ratio actualy refer to ? - 70/30 - 50/50 - what is that ?

i saw some KYB Monomax recently - they look very strong for body control - anyone know anyone who uses em ?

otherwise i'll prolly end up Duff or Cage.

gotta tighten it on road at speed tho.

thx much,

Monza.

I have Explorer Pro-comp gas shocks and they have been great. What is your budget? I think I got all four corners for around $170 at 4Wheel parts.

If you are interested, I can get you Trailmasters for about $210 shipped (provided you are only running 4 shock system not the 6 shock).

By the way these are new SSV shocks.
