i have a 79 bronco with a wristed arm, 4" superflex springs, the 400 and a winch bumper, at ride height from my mount on the radius arm to the 3/4 ton eyelet shock mount is almost exactly 23 inches. i have 15" throw james duff shocks but that gives me only 2.5" uptravel. i cant move the f250 mounts any higher due to my heater...im through the fender right under it now. the closest things ive found are a superlift and skyjacker with roughly 5 1/4" uptravel and 7" droop, or a rancho 5000 with about 4" uptravel and 10" droop. . which one would be better? it doesnt seem like 4" of uptravel would be enough especially with springs this soft.

i have the rs5000's that are 33" extended with 14" travel. granted i mounted my own shock mounts by way of solid axle conversion, but i have 4" uptravel and 10" downtravel. now, keep in mind i have 9" coils in the front, but i havent bottomed out the shocks yet. at the bare minimum, i've had about 1/2" shock piston left. i think you'd be fine to run 12" travel shocks. the 15" ones might be a hair too long for only 4" springs.
