Hey. My 89 eb edition bronco with a 302 and a push button 4x4 seems to be stuck telling me its in 4x4 low. I was coming out of a trail and for some reason it stalled just as I hit the pavement. I figured no big deal, hopped out of the truck and put my hubs back to free. when I got back in and started the truck back up, it started blinking low range at me, which I thought was wierd because I wasnt in low range when it stalled. what makes matters worse is that hitting either button doesnt make the low range go away. normally when I go into low range It comes right out when I hit the 4x4 button again. It doesnt exactly feel like its in 4x4 anymore, and throwing it in reverse didnt help any. Nor did disconnecting the negative lead for a little while. I have it sitting with the neg. lead off the battery for now to see if it needs more time that way, but if anyone else could help me out I would really realy apreciate it!!!

if i remember correctly it's basically a window motor that engages the transfer case. maybe crawl under the truck and have a buddy push the switch. i imagine you should be able to hear if it's doing anything.
