I don't know of any commercial sales place that sells them. Perhaps on eBay if someone is parting out a truck. Take a look in the Parts for Sale section of the forum an try one of the guys parting out a truck. You can get the whole cluster or just the part that contains the cable. Try calling some of the on-line parts places like http://www.partstrain.com/ShopByVehicle/FORD?source=adwords&s_kwcid={ifcontent:ContentNetwork}{ifsearch:{keyword}}|{creative} or http://www.usedfordautoparts.com/ . Do a Google search on used ford parts.

Good luck,

:)>-

yo

As our friend, Seabronc advised, a yard $ is prob cheaper if they will pull it from a cluster or let you pull it; since we lost many yards here, the remainder are fussy about pulling small parts out of cluster or parting out a window from a door; they want the bigger $ for entire door.

Shift Indicator Cable Repair in an 84 C6; "...The plastic tubing that holds the gear indicator cable is broken in several places, starting at the point where it meets the indicator housing, which removes from the rest of the cluster with two screws. I ended up removing the cable entirely (which was broken as well) and replacing it with a thin piece of wire (from a CAT5 cable, actually) that is flexible but rigid enough to not bind. I still need to find a thin enough piece of plastic line to house it before I can reattach it to the shift arm, though..."
