I'm curious if the seats from my Aerostar will fit. Both the "new" bronco and the Aerostar are 1989 models, but the van is the Eddie Bauer with perfect seats - and a dead everything else. Before it goes to the scrapper I'm thinking of scavenging. Anybody tried these? (I know - just go do it, right?). So - if they work this weekend, I'll let you know.

KC, here ya go:

Installation Info (Aerostar) in an 88: "...the top of the tall Aerostar seat limits the upward movement of the bracket for rear occupant access, as shown. There are four bolts on each seat that remove the brackets from the seats. Obviously it is much easier to remove the seat and bracket from the floor as one unit. Then after turning the seat and bracket over on the tailgate, you can then seperate the bracket and seat with four bolts one at each corner. You will have to adjust the bracket while on the seat to remove the last two bolts. Then reinstall in reverse order.... " pics are gone from his SM site

Has anybody tried to use Ford Excursion seats? They look close and have the built in arm rest. My local LKQ has a pair out of a 2000 and a 2002 and I thought about checking them out. They are out of a limited but the color looks close to my Eddie Bauer.
