So I am considering selling the Bronco eventually and buying another one. It won't be for awhile yet, but I am considering going the ebay route. Has anyone ever sold a vehicle, or anything else even, on ebay? Could you tell me a little bit about what you went through? I really don't want to get people like the guy that emailed beausdad bidding on my stuff. But it might be easier to just sell locally. I am sure, washed and waxed I can sell her pretty easliy. Just find some young kid who wants to go four wheeling and daddy's buying. =) Just kidding.

Anyways, if you've done it I would love to hear your opinion.

i havent personally but my neighbor bought his pickup on ebay. he said the best part of the whole thing was that it had to be as advertised or he had legal recourse. ( i dont know the specifics in that regard)

he also said if he buys another used vehicle that ebey will be the first place he looks. cant beat car shopping from home.

See that's the intersting thing. Would I have to tell them the trans is probably going to need rebiult/replaced eventually? And that the fender flares (put on before I bought it) are hiding rust? I think it might be easier to go with the local route. That way they can come take as close a look as they want, and if they buy it it's "AS IS"

Let me know what yous think

Yeah I would try to sell it locally first, I like buying off ebay but not selling vehicles. Costs an arm and a leg in fees too. Just list it on craigslist.com and it will be gone in a week.
