Any body have any good ideas on fixing rust damage? The bottom of the tailgait is rusted across and both rear fender's are rusted through right at the wheel well

New metal(panels and tailgate) Sanding it down will only slow it you have to either cut out the rust and put new metal in or just replace the entire part.

Body work like that isn't real hard to do. I replaced the metal on both rear quarter panels plus most of the right side rocker panel, cut it from the door post to the tail light and put in new metal I cut out of a good F150 box.

Good luck,

:)>-
