runs then dies

my 78 runs gr8 til good and warm then starts cuttin out an trying 2 die....step on throttle an chokes like goin 2 die....tap side of carb an it runs fine 4 a few then acts up.....is this carb or ignition problem???please help

tap side of carb... not affect ignition so must be carb prob.

best 2 fix before die

Take the carb off and clean it up(or while you are at it-re-build it )and put on a new gas filter
