My stepson broke his drivers side vent window on his 93 Bronco. I am trying to figure out if I can replace it myself. The only thing that concerns me is the rivit that the window pivots on. Do I need something special to take the old one off and put the new one on? Any suggestions would be helpful. I found a repalcement at broncograveyard.com for $90.00 for the whole thing. I might be able to get a cheaper one from the local junkyard but I am really ok ordering online. Anyway, any suggestions would be much appreciated. I am fairly mechanicly inclined so I need to know if I should do this myself or pay to get it fixed.

Thanks in advance!!!

Don't know if you figured this one out yet, but you need to take the entire mount out of the door or mostly out. There are two screws on the front side of the door which need to be removed and a bolt under the door panel. Then there is a spring loaded nut under the wing and two screws on the top bracket. Just remove these and reverse the process with the new window in it.

Let me know if I confused you on any of this.

Good luck,

:)>-
