I just bought a 74 Bronco. Has a 6" suspension lift with a 3" body lift. I am going to remove the body lift, but am new to this. Is there anything to worry about or is it just removing the spacers and installing new bushings? It seems everyone says it is pretty easy, just do not want to get started to find out I missed something. Thanks.

From what I can tell (from my limited experience), eveything other than the suspension is stock. Auto C4 tranny. Just do not know if I can remove lift and all is good or will I run into problems with any lines or linkage. Thanks again.

Fan shroud, carb linkage, incl. kick down..., steer. shaft alignment.

Poss. shift linkage adjustment.
Wow thats a tall rig 9 in lift what are you running 42s or is it a mud truck, or a 20 chrome shock show rig, these days everybody in California is running big tires on low rigs with big cut outs

any way git rid of that body lift here are my helps

Rear too back

Fuel tank they make 2 in body lift fuel tanks check clearance

bumpers may have been lifted tailgait might not clear after body lift removed

mufflers may be lifted with the extra space

aftermarket seat bolts may hit frame or other brackets

I took out a 2 inch let me think

as you take it out the tube will flex and doors might not fit as same

steering shaft should colapes if it has a slipshaft if not cut and modify

throttle adjustment a must

air filter too hood might hit

radiator/ fan shroud ,radiator most likely had drop brackets, replace too stock or cut bend weld too fit

send pics for more help, I have removed my 2 in body lift as well
