Im having a problem with my window motor. When i bought the bronco it had a bad motor, i replaced the motor and it still wont work. i dont even hear the motor trying to turn. i replaced the fuse but that didnt help. i may have connected the wires incorrectly. i didnt use the clip thingy, i connected ***** wires. i matched yellow with yellow and red with red, but i hooked the ***** cables and put them together and wrapped them with electrical tap. would this cause it not to work? if not, where else could there be a problem?

Check for power with a test light or meter. You may have a bad switch on the dash. Be sure the tailgate is shut securely ,s the safety feature inthe driver's latch won't let the motorwork if it "thinks" the gate is not closed. Look in the Tech Articles forum for more links to help you out, JSM84

I had the same problem with my 92 Bronco rear window. It turned out to be the door was not fully latched to the body of the truck. Once I dropped the gate and released the latch on the driver side and closed the tail the window worked with no hickups.
