Rear top removel

When out to take the top off the bronco to day and as I stated yesterday Im new to this so forgive me...... I see that I need a tamper proof socket to get the top off well now I cant find one any where. Where is everyone getting these from been to every auto store in town and even the ford dealer with no luck thanks for your time again

I went to a local mom and pop auto shop...Napa Auto parts has them as well, they are Torx bits (T40 or T50 I think), with a tamper proof indent in the top....make sure to get a couple because there are two sizes you will need to get the top off completely.

I just bought my Bronco and just took the top off for the first time a week ago, if you need any help or tips, email me directly ([email protected]) and I will do what I can to help you..

Only thing to add is dont lose em.. dey aint cheap.. store mine in glad container as top is off for the summer.

so would a regular torx bit of the right size work, or do you have to have the tamper proof ones?
