It appears you have The following:

8.8 inch, non limited-slip (some call it non-posi)

With 3.55 to 1 gear ratio.

I believe most if not all of the rears in Broncos came with synthetic ****. If you can find one in the junk yard, it may be an easy bolt in.

You may only have to change axles. Maybe not even that.

Some of the other guys with partsbook minds, can probably tell you if a diff. from a F-150 or 250 will fit.

Why exactly do you need a new one?

as far as diffs are concerned, as long as it fits under the truck, or bronco and has a place that matches for the shocks, it will fit. you can get ring gears, pinions and diff carriers from sites like broncograveyard.com ( we are pretty much advertising for them like everyday...we should get commission)

it also depends on weather you want to try your luck with a rear end from a scrap yard, if you just want to replace the damaged parts in your own rear end, or build a complete new differential in your old rear end housing. it all comes down to luck ...and money,

Just a comment, not sure if you offroad your truck but, if you do I would be strongly considering a limited slip rear end, if you can find one, having one would have made a few of my own adventures more mud on the truck less on me.

Good luck
