I have an 1987 bronco Eddie Bauer 2, 4wd limited slip rear axle. I just replaced my axle seals but now the axle won't go all the way in leaving me unable to put the c clips back on the axle. What do I do?

Hey Patrick,  Welcome.

There is often enough play between the inner bearing and the axel shaft to make it a bit difficult to align with the spider gear. This will prevent the axel from sliding all the way in. You need to hold the axel ****** firmly and tilt it just slightly to get the end of the shaft to raise and be straight enough to slip into that spider gear.

It can be a pain but stick with it.

Good Luck
