Sup guys! I recently finished replacing my old radius arms on my bronco. (After 4 weeks of waiting for the damn part!) Got new Tuff Country suspension as a replacement so hopefully all's well! After installation I noticed the tires are way out of line (Probably due to the previous owners bad installation of the radius arms, because the arms were DIY made, according to Tuff Country, and the brackets measurements are approx. 3 inchs off). So now I brought my truck to a shop to have a front end alignment done. It looked better but the tires are still tilted, Top side of the tire is towards the engine, and bottom is sticking out. Now I have two minor issues. 1, is the ball joints cam? (the slanted fitting underneath the kingpin) not in the right spot? And 2, my steering wheel is slightly turned to the right, but to the tires its straight, is the problem at the steering wheel or tie rod? (NOTE: It was like that before the wheel alignment as well)

Let me know if there's any other additional information you guys need! Thanks!

Hey NR,

Question, were the tires showing positive camber before the new radius arms?

An alignment shop should never let a vehicle leave with ethe tires tilted as you say they are. Or the steering wheel not centered. ( the wheel can be centered by adjusting the tie rod ends, and toe setting....BUT only after the camber is corrected.)

How were the radius arm brackets 3 inches off? I'm having a hard time picturing this. Pics could be helpful here.

Hey sorry for the late response schools keepin me busy!

The reason why the truck left with tilted tires is because adjusting the cambers wouldn't have completely fixed my tilted tires issue. Reasons because, my truck is lifted 4 inchs (due to from previous owner), no one thought of dropping the axle pivot points to keep the axle leveled. So adjusting the cambers would only have little effect on the tires unless the axle is brought down to a manageable level.

Ron, For some reason before my radius arms did break, I do believe the cambers were in positive range, but because of my new radius arms (Somehow!) it may have thrown the specs off, possibly from the brackets being uneven. And I would have taken pictures if I had them off to show the holes being uneven, but because of the new brackets they are now covered. (I will show just how tilted the tires are as soon as there is light outside)

So the solution to my problem is to order a pair of lifted axle pivot brackets and have them installed and get another alignment done and perhaps that will solve my issue.

And thank you for the pics Miesk5! I will keep those on hand!
