Quick Acceleration stall

So, I finally got to checking out the accelerator pump, and there is nothing wrong with it. Seems to be functioning fine. A guy I talked to said it might be the distributor module. I thought that if the distributor module was the problem, the truck wouldn't start at all? Any help would be appreciated as always. I might mention that when I bought the bronco, my dad and I noticed that the distributor itself was a little loose when the guy was getting the truck started, cause it to sputter unless he was pumping the gas. We tightened it up, and it seemed to do fine then.

Let me correct myself, there doesn't SEEM to be anything wrong with it.
