got new tires on the truck the other day and decided to go show off in front of my girl friend...(nuff said) but as soon as i got off the trails and back on the road i started to hear a reallly bad grinding sound coming out of the front end. when i say grinding i mean to say it sounds like a piece of steel hanging down draging the road, just a horrible horrible sound. so i limpt it home and cannot find what is making the sound. it appears to be coming from the hubs/rotor area but i can not find what it is.. any suggestions?

Most likely a bad wheel bearing, but first check if there's any mud or rocks hung up inside the rim. USing a jack, take the weight off that tire and try to move it in/ out, side/side. Any slack is not good.
