protecting the underside

so i was out in the woods having some fun today, but when i came home i noticed that i had a piece of wood stuck between the tranny and the crossmember,

so im wonderin if anyone have any designs on protection for the underside.

cause i know myself and if i dont get some protection il end up smashing up something real expensive under there....

If you check around a few local friendly auto recyclers, you will probably find a Ford OEM tranny and transfer case guard on one of their Bronco junkers. You may also find some one willing to sell the one they have. It's heavy so may be a bit pricey to have someone ship it, but doable via UPS.

i live in northern europe and due to the inzane taxing on heavy powerfull cars, there are next to no bronco's around...

il prob end up making something myself out of some solid metal plates.
