ok i have had my truck for about a week and it's been ****. i have replaced pretty much the hole fuel system and ignition system except for a few parts. and my problem that i am having is the when i try and go off roading if i hit a bump really hard the truck will die out. just flat die no sputter. but if i pump the peddle it will try and catch it's self but it wont. does anyone have any help i'm lost at this point

its efi right? the inertial switch could be clicking off, its in the dash behind the glove box I believe. you can just take it out so your truck wont die when you hit big bumps, but in the case of an accident your fuel system will not shut off unless you turn off the key.

hmm, sounds like you are loosing spark but from what i don't know, check all your harnesses and wires from the computer to the ICM and to the coil, I found with my coil harness the tach wire got loose and could be pulled of the coil without unplugging the harness, luckily I caught that before it was a problem. next time you get it running just wiggle wires around under the hood and see if something causes it to die and go from there.

any sort of gas problem would make it either putter or bog before it quits, I think unless it gets an instant shot to too much fuel that floods it, and the 3/4 pedal "clear mode" tries to help . but try the wiggle test and go from there, good luck man.
