problem staying running

I have a 90 fullsize bronco 5.8 ,351w when i cranck it it run at a high idle then it goes down. When i put it in gear R or D it cuts off even if i im giving it gas. HELP IM DOWN TO MY LAST STRING OF HAIR.

If memory is correct a 90 MPFI and it may be your throttle posion sensor or you may be out of time. When it's warmed up what does it idle at?

The T.P.S in new change it anyway it did the same just put a timing chain on set 10degrees BTC

Are you sure you aligned everything back up properly when u put on the new timing chain. Also when you dropped the dizzy back in are you sure you had #1 cylinder on compression stroke not exhaust . Another thing maybe are your wires in correct firing order hey anything can happen just askin.... well good luck ....

Thanks guys but it was the last thing i would've thought of it was out of TRANSMISSION FLUID.Im a greenhorn on ford & 4x4 i guess you learn something new everday and again thanks
