Power Window (Driver's Side) Need Help

I just got a sweet deal on an 87 Bronco. This is the first one I have owned. Previously a Jeep owner (don't mean to offend anyone, much happier with the Bronco). The driver's side power window just went out. I have been trying to locate hopefully what is just a short, but to no avail. It will motor down when I leave for work in the morning, but won't motor up again for a day or two. The previous owner told me there were some bearings that were just replaced and up until about a week ago everything was fine. When it does work it seems to function well. If anyone could give me any pointers it would be much appreciated.
