alright yall i got a problem with tha blame power steering we was muddin tha other night and all of a sudden steering got almost inpossible and i thought i might have broke a tie rod or blew the lid off the pump or broke a belt but none of these was the problem it turns out i blew the hose out of the side of the pump but the ****** nut is still in the pump so i'm guessing it was quite a bit of pressure well we stuck it back in as best we could and put some more fluid in it tonight before we went muddin again and it held sittin there idlin i turned the steering wheel and before the tires even moved it blew it out again so i did the right thing and took the belt to the pump off and went out to the mudhole played alittle bit and went home with NO POWER STEERING so what do i need to do?

that wasn't my idea the guy that was with me said we should do that i said well i guess its worth a try so i let him do it and him put fluid in it and when i turned the wheel to check to see if it worked he was standing next to the truck with the hood open and he got covered in power steering fluid i guess it served him right for not doing his homework on truck repair

My husband being the non mechanic that he is, is actually great at fixing those high pressure power steering lines with....you'll never believe this...but the blue gasket sealer junk and rubber orings.

Personally, I wouldn't have believed it if I hadn't seen it but that repair is still holding up to this day. It's beyond me how it has lasted.
