anybody know does the power door locks on a 95 have a relay in the system. Every once in a while they go crazy locking & unlocking, if I pull the fuse it will stop & when I reinstall the fuse it may be fine for days. I've traced the wires in both doors & the wires all look good & it never blows the fuse like I would expect if it were shorted out.

I can hear something clicking up under the dash even with the fuse pulled when I hit the door lock switch. I'd live without the power door locks but the same fuse runs the rear window.

Well, if the system has a remote key lock system, factory or aftermarket, it will have a relay.

Good luck,

thanks

didn't a keyless remote with it but that makes sense, it has a theft light among the idiot lights & today out of the blue the horn started blowing & that was flashing on & off until I got in & stated it.

FYI

This has amazed me but I replaced the ignition switch (tumbler) which was also junk.

The problem has gone away & the locks haven't had any issue since.

go figure

Who'da thunk  Never would have made a connection with that one since the door locks are a hot at all times function. I would have expected the remote entry module  /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" /> .
