For the Chebby swap you can google it and get tons of walk thru info. Lots of guys have done this, me included. Here are 2 articles for the Chebby:

http://classicbroncos.com/disc.shtml

http://www.wsu.edu:8080/~i6735189/discbrakeconversion.htm

If you want to use all Ford, here is an all Ford swap:

http://classicbroncos.com/disc-f150.shtml

As for your power brakes, let me ask you a couple of questions before you order the Duff kit. #1 do you have power steering? #2 are you definately wanting the vacuum assisted brakes? The reason I ask you those is that if you have power steering, you can put hydroboost on your rig for almost more than half the cost of the vacuum kit. Not to mention, HB is more responsive and it is more reliable if engine trouble should arise. If you have the PS and want to go with HB, here is a link to the write up that I did for HB installation:

If you have questions, give me a shout. I have both F&R disc as well as PS & PB that were not on mine when I bought it. I did them all, so if I can help you, let me know.

You can run front discs without the power or assisted system. Anyone who tells you that you have to have either to have disc is completely wrong. You also may or may not have to get a proportioning valve to run the fronts. I didn't, others have had to. As far as the power/assisted brakes goes, I would honestly hold off on them if you plan on putting PS on it. The manual disc/drum set up is amazingly stouter than the drum/drum and it will do fine for you. Once you have PS put on, I would go with the hydroboost set up. Easy to do and like I said, more reliable than the vacuum.

the HB set up sounds like the way to go . is there any particular truck model year i'm looking for to get the power steering box pump brackets ect ?or can i get the parts from napa ? the chevy spindles looks like the eisiest swap for the brakes .
