Glad you finally filled it up :D/ . Your inaccurate responses to questions lead to a lot of false conclusions

Good luck,

Well, not to be contentious but SeaBronc was right. It worked out well enough this time but it IS difficult to diagnose a prob without an *accurate* description of what's going on & I think if you read thru ALL the questions & responses you can see where there was some confusion & why. No biggie, no harm no foul, but there's nothing wrong with constructive critisizm, he wasn't rude or mean about it but simply pointed out that inaccurate responses can lead to wildly off-base suggestions. Everyone needs good intel to work with, simple as that. He just said what a lot of us already knew.

i never got off topic or said anything else different you guys did, you guys started talking about white smoke, bad head gasket, coolant in my oil, and i said nothing about me having problems, i was just low on coolant like i said many times.

Exactly, and you can see in one of my earlier comments that I did justify that. You stayed on topic. Everyone else jumped to bad theories.

the smoke was white and it was thick if i applied the gas pedal.so what would that mean, and now that its cold i have a tick that goes with the engine lower half sounds like, sounds towards rear lower of motor,
Ran it so low on coolant that the hose sucked flat & starved the waterpump to the point where it was loud enough to scare him silly, *then* reports thick white smoke & engine noise and asks what that MIGHT mean. Yet everyone here who thought *head gasket* apparently "jumped to bad theories" ???? I think it's fair to say that most guys who drive their trucks around with "NO COOLANT" (his quote & caps, not mine) eventually have head gasket issues. And just where did that cracked block suggestion first come from anyways ? Absolutely amazing & it proves once again that denial is NOT just a river in Africa.

The truck is fixed & the issues are moot, I can only *hope* that one of the mods simply closes out the topic at this point.

Well, uhm, yeah you did. Go back & reread your own post. I never said that you wrote it on "several occasions", simply that you wrote it. First you said you didn't have any smoke & then you said you DID have smoke, to be honest it was a little confusing. The quotes I posted weren't pulled out of thin air, they're quotes from what you wrote & you posted, that's *why* I quoted you twice when I replied to this thread, your words, not mine. You did in fact say that you had white smoke & it was thick when you stepped on the gas. 12/16/07 at 8:01pm, go back & read what you wrote. THAT'S why it was mentioned that accurately reporting the problems would lead to less confusion. It's right there in black & white for anyone who wants to take the time to read it, 9th post in the series & the very same one in which you also claimed to have engine noise and asked what *might* be causing it. You wote it, you posted it & quite frankly I have nothing else to say on the matter.

QUOTE

Thanks, but ill add this since its cold i can see the smoke, and its white so but when it was summer i saw nothing, buttttt i add that when it sat if i ran it at idle since it wasnt leagally able to be driven, the smoke was white and it was thick if i applied the gas pedal.so what would that mean, and now that its cold i have a tick that goes with the engine lower half sounds like, sounds towards rear lower of motor, whats back there. it goes away eventually after warming up. grrr i guess i need to save up money til summer comes so i can do some replacing and possibly preventative maintence.lol.

my bad i forgot to put WHEN ITS COLD at the start. i forgot some details this early post was based on mostly about whne i first bought the bronco so my bad guys, promise i wont do it again. lol
