I just bought my first bronco about 2 weeks ago. I got some things to do to it. Like tailgate window motor,door locks, windshield washer pump, re wire the stereo (it stays on after the key is turned off). I gotta replace the 2 U-joints on the rear driveshaft. I have a oil leak somewhere, I think it's coming from the front of the motor. Anyways after all of this I want to plasti dip my whole bronco and wheels. Bronco is gonna be an army green( which u will see in the pic) and flat black (again as seen in the pic) what is y'all's thoughts?

yo J,

It will be interesting for sure; looks good imo!

I have seen Broncos coated w/bed liner;

I didn't go through the site because of the IE 8 security pop-up.

GL!

Their are those stories out their that when you re-move the plasi-Dip it removes your clear coat, However; Plasti-Dip says that as long as you follow all the directions and mixing instructions to the "T" you won't have any problems.

Just do a good job masking and watch the official how to videos and you'll be fine. Just do your homework.

@miesk5 https://www.dipyourcar.com is clean. IE 8 did its false warning thing. (again)

Personally I can't wait to afford having my Bronco wrapped :) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

Skitter, yeah ive already did alot of homework. Dipyourcar.com actually does the mixing for you. I've watch Tons of tutorial videos on YouTube. All I see is positive feedback. I know you can get the plasti dip from plastidip.com also but it's not thinned out in gallon cans. You have to mix it yourself. But with dipyourcar.com it comes premixed n thinned out. But thanks for looking out.

I'm dipping my Bronco in a week or two. I already have everything I need so no turning back now.

I was thinking about the bedliner option... that is until I actually saw a truck done in bedliner. From 10feet away it looked killer, but the closer you got the worse it looked.

The Dip can be removed too, and I haven't heard anything about it damaging the clear coat or paint. In fact there are people that have dipped brand new Audi's, BMWs, Porsches... even a Lambo! Some people do it specifically to preserve the original paint and clear coat. When done right, you can peel it off after 4 years and have a car with the original paint with zero sun fade or exposure to the elements. All that said, I'm doing my Bronco because the matte black looks like batmobile armor or something!

Jferris83 have you done yours yet?
