My girlfriends a shorty, and struggles to get into my bronco (stock height for now) she asked me to put a handle inside for her to grab and pull her self up with. Any ideas on how to do that or where to get one?

I have a few Links to this (Grab Bar) in my site @ http://www.broncolinks.com/index.php?index=302

You'll see that some have used Explorer GB's or Taurus and mounted them on A pillar;

Blaze did same but with handles from an Explorer; he wrote: "...What you do is take out one ***** from the trim piece, and ***** it through the handle back into it's hole...then you use the other hole as a template to drill your other hole (watch it closely, cause you could "not hit the meat" of the shell...very easy as long as you are aware of this...when you do it you will see what I mean) then just use one of the screws that came with the handle and fasten it down...that handle cost me 5 bux at "the yard" and it was the correct color!

(There was actualy two handles for 5 bux"_______

others have mtd em on the "Sail Panel" (aft of pass side door and in front of camper top's side glass; Pep Boys etc and Van customizing parts house have em; some come with clear plastic type bar that has LEDs

You said its stock height for now, you may want to look at nerf bars to get in, she may need them too when you lift it.

yo Bronc76!

Great!

I completely forgot about Nerfs! Even tho that is what I put on our 96 to help my much better half to jump in and para out.

I got the Smittybilt Nerf, $105.00 in 97 w/free S&H; powdercoated black; here it is:

You may find these still avail at parts stores; SB re-organized and dropped these basic round tubed Nerfs.

BTW, they did a great powdercoat on it; after 13 years there is no rust on it and look great, exc. for minor scuffs that come out w/buffing.

Here is the SB Nerf line-up

for our Broncos; the Smittybilt Sure Steps are close to what I have & their other Nerfs don't appear to be applicable according to their lists.
