It works fine until you power the window all the way down till it stops. I then have to unbolt the window motor from the regulator and bring the window all the way up before I reinstall the motor. After doing this it's back to normal and the motor and window work just fine, unless I power the window all the way back down again.

Anyone with any ideas?

Like the Doctor said, "Don't do that !"

Can't see why the position of the motor makes any difference, unless being all the way down causes a connector to move or a wire that has an internal break. Take a volt meter and find out where you loose 12V when the button is pushed.

Good luck,

:)>-

mine does the same thing but I am not trying to fix it. as long as it has 1/4 of an inch from the top of the door panel i am ok. and i don't mind it really. i am just glad it works.

but if you do find out how to fix it. let me know. i will gladly take the advice. :D /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

Yeah if it goes below the top of the panel I'm screwed, but as long as I keep it a hair above it I'm fine...as soon as I'm able to get my hands on an ohm meter I'll continue to troubleshoot it...

Just for kicks, next time your in there look at the gear on the regulator. If that last tooth is broken or worn down it will act like a starter does with a flywheel that has a bad spot in it..........If the motor is not turning at all, when the window is all the way down, it torques the linkage enough to move a wire/ground.. this could be your problem............hope it helps..... :-B
