I was looking at my door jam tag and saw that my tran code is T, and my axale code is H9.What do these codes mean?

the transmission code i'm not sure about but the axle code i can help you with the H in front of the 9 means the axle has a factory installed limited slip differential if it was open it would be a 1 instead of a H and the nine means that you have 3.54 gears in the front and 3.55 in the rear you can also get under the truck and look at the tag on the differential cover of the axle

Yeah, T should be the AOD 3-speed auto tranny. Right on for the H9: 3.55 gears with factory limited slip. The rear tag should have 3L55 8 8 ... on the bottom row. It's bolted to the back of the center housing of the rear axle, which is a 31 spline Ford 8.8" model.
