Does anyone know what O2 sensor is Bank 1 Sensor 1 on a 96 bronco? It is just too expensive right now to buy 4 sensors! I bought one and just want to swap out the bad one. Also how can I reset my check engine light???

bank 1 sensor 1 should be left front before the cat (possibly in the manifold or in the y-pipe, i'm not sure)

try using universal sensors (using the old connectors and heat shrinking the wires together)

any autozone with a code reader CAN shut off the light (although not supposed to), or just pull the positive battery cable.

good luck

So drivers side off the manifold? I will try it. Would disconnecting my battery terminal reset my check engine light?? Also any ideas on how to remove it? it seems to be stuck pretty good

looks like its in the y-pipe down towards the cat.

just take the cable off the battery and let it sit for a while, then put the cable back on and voila... it should be off, unless it's throwing more than one code.
