I just purchased a 71 Bronco that is going to recieve a frame off rebuild.

Here is a list of what will be taking place in the next few months to come.

First order...

Truck will be completely dissasembled, body will be acid dipped, pour15 will cover the entire inside to keep the rust from coming back.

The front floor section will be replaced ( rust ). as will the inner upper fender supports ( damn rust again )!

Custom body mods include the following, shaved emblems, side marker lights, Chrome side mouldings.

I am adding an 04 mustang hood scoop (?) still debating this part. definately not going with "GLASS" they always fit like crap! I may take the factory **** and raise it 3" in front and 1.5 in the rear.

I will take pics along the way and write info on parts, supply's, applications of parts and materials, vendors, , etc.

Use the info as you see fit to help with your project!

I will throw some pics as work progresses I am doing this in my shop inbetween other jobs so it will take a while, but the goal is to have it done ( are they really ever done? ) April 08

If you have any questions or comments please feel free to write me at [email protected]

Thanks for the kind words! I will be posting pics as well as written info during the build up in hopes to help those who may need it. I had built a Jeep some five years ago. I sold it to start my business. a vehicle customizing shop.

Now that it's running itself I will have time (and the extra funds) needed to build it real nice!

I'm phsyced! I havent been wheeling since I sold the Jeep ( ive been jonzin big time ).

I will keep all updated.

Thanks again!

That's some real nice work on the jeep. Can't wait to see how the Bronco turns out.

Thanks! I plan on going up to the next level with the Bronco. It will have the best of everything.

And yes the rig will have plenty of under carriage "war wounds" from rock crawling.

Build it for show but have the balls to GO!

Howdy & Welcome to Bronco Zone!!! Good luck on your EB project, looks like you have some experience with 4x4's. Please post as many pics as you can, either in the image gallery or link the pics from another site. One of my wheelin' buds just sold his 96 Bronco for a 2001 Jeep that looks alot like your pics. Yeah, we all give'em heck for buying a Heep, but it's an awesome wheelin' rig in it's own right. Guess everyone is entitled to an opinion, but please don't bash anyone who may disagree with you, JSM84
