Low oil pressure can be caused by worn main bearings, or a clogged oil pump pick-up tube. IF you put a new pump on, did you clean the pick-up tube? And if you have any meta lfilings in the oil from those worn bearings, the new pump will not last very long. Before spending big bucks to swap motors, try draining the oil and look for any metal. Remove the old oil filter, and cut it in half, look for metal in it. When I did this recently on my 84, I found terrible sludge in the oil filter, and milky oil plus pieces of metal in the pan from a couple of damaged pistons.
