Well i finally got her going....But have made som wierd discoveries. My Bronco is an 1987 xlt. The vin says it came with a 302 and it being an 87 shouldve been an AOD trans..Well it has a 351W with an E40. It seems some one used a running gear out of a newer year ford? Has anyone ever ran across this? If so let me know.. thanks

Its not totally odd that the previous owners along the way changed out motor/trans to a more up to date version or if they wanted a bigger motor.
