Good morning all,
I have been a member here for a few months now and I finally decided to introduce myself and post a few pics of my obsession.
I bought my 1st bronco 1 1/2 years ago, then lost interest, due to it needing more work than I wanted to do.
Then a friend told me her son has 2 bronco's and he wants to get rid of them, so 500 bucks later, I was the proud owner of 2 76 broncos and plus my 66.
The 66 was sold through ebay for a small profit and one of the 76's which was sold for 450 bananas. Which left me with my 50 dollar obsession.
Now its 6 months later I find myself scrambling to get the bronco on the road for the July meet in Arkansas.
I added up yesterday that I have spent over $4,200 in parts in those 6 months, which doesnt include the 2,300 trailer to haul the truck or numerous tools for my garage so I can work on the obsession.
Hopefully tomorrow I can drop in my new remanufactured 85 H.O. 302 (remanufatured by AC Delco  ). Dont laugh it was a good deal only 600 bucks for the long block.
Then I get to install all the parts I have scattered around my house and garage.
Truck is an uncut 76 Ranger 302 automatic, power steering and brakes. it originally had AC, but only thing left was the condenser. The last owner purchased the truck back in 91 with 44,000 original miles, since that time they only put 10 miles on it. I figured out why, when I dropped the oil pan, pieces of pistons fell out.
Sorry for the long post
You all have a bronco safe day!
