Hi all. got a question about the o2 sensor. On my vacuum hose routing diagram for my 85 bronco with a 300 inline 6, it does not show an o2 sensor. Does that mean that the sensor is not needed for emissions inspection? Or are there other required emission items that are not shown on the vhr diagram?

The reason I'm asking is because if the sensor is not needed for emissios, that means that I can keep the headers that are on it now. Which brings me to one more question. If I can keep my headers, will the stock intake still fit between the header mounts?

Thanks, Bill

P.S. As soon as I get a pic of it, I have a question about an unused linkage arm on my automatic transmission.

Like I said before Bill, it depends on how picky the emissions test is. Some places they do a visual to see if they can spot anything that is missing. If they do a sniffer test, not having the O2 sensor will probably result in failure. It is used by the EEC to determine if the mixture is rich, lean or right on. If you keep the 4bbl, then I don't know if you will pass any way.

As far as the headers go, you will only know if when you try it. :) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

Good luck,
