Hey guys n gals.

I'm from the south suburbs of Chicago and am no noob when it comes to racing and the industry. I am however still expanding my knowledge of BKOs and the 351/400m motors.

I work full time as a salesman at a performance warehouse specializing in drag racing components.

I'm not new to forums either but please bare with me as it appears this one is a tad different than the traditional ones.

As far as my Bronco goes...

It's a 78 351m c6 4x4

I acquired it in a trade about 2 years ago. I have slowly been fixing the things wrong with it as they need.

Feel free to laugh at the rediculous paint job done by the previous owner!

I have a mint conidition body that is almost ready for paint and to be swapped onto the frame.

I am also SLOWLY acquiring parts to build the replacement 400m motor I plan to swap in.

Thanks man!

It needs a lot more than quarter panels! Most of the floor is missing too. It's probably not even safe to be driving! haha

But, the replacement body I have for it is 100% brand new rust free from tailgate to core support.

Also picked up a set of Mickey Thompson Side Biters from work for $300!!

Yah, I suspected so.  It's kind of like pealing an onion, isn't it.  Every time you peal back one layer you find another one that needs pealing back $-)

When I restored the body on my 83 I ended up with new 1/4s (from a LMC Truck), new doors (from an 95 Bronco), new tail gate (from an 85), new front fenders (from a local autobody supply), new rockers, new cowell (from an 87), new hood (from an 85 F250), the rear 20 inches of a 96 (in order to replace the rear cross member and sheet metal, multiple floor panel sheetmetal replacement pieces, new body and radiator mounts, and topped it off with a 81 new front grill and headlight trim (from LMC Truck, because I like the look of it better than the ones with the Ford oval).  Then there were the interior seats and trim, truely a bride of Frankenstein    I named her Rosie after a character in an old Chicago radio show called "Life with Louigi"

Have fun with yours, I'm sure you will have it together much faster than I did

Good luck,

:)>-
